If you are just travelling from place to place or alternatively you would like a longer holiday stay, we offer accommodation in the middle of Lofoten. You will live in traditional fishermen's buildings (rorbu's) with a completely unique atmosphere. Out on the quay or in the communal kitchens, you can meet people from all over the world!

Lofoten is ... Fish - sea - mountains - nature - Midnight Sun - Northern Lights!

Feel free to borrow one of the rowing boats and try your luck at fishing! Or maybe you would rather go to the mountains? There are many hiking opportunities around Stamsund and in the rest of Lofoten.

Or just relax! Make dinner, perhaps together with other guests. Enjoy the large outdoor area, look out to sea! And breathe out ...

For several decades, Roar has been the heart and soul of this oasis of a hostel, creating a sense of community that has become synonymous with the experience. Roar is now stepping back from the operations, and we express our heartfelt gratitude for the legacy he leaves behind.

Now, it's me, Matias, who welcomes you to the most charming hostel in the Lofoten Islands! With fresh perspectives and a commitment to preserving the essence of the hostel, I am ready to build upon Roar's foundation.
