Go on a walking trip
There are good opportunities for walks nearby. You can walk around Svarholtvannet, a freshwater lake. You get to the easy hiking trail by crossing the main road at the bus stop. This trail offers many options for detours, including to Jungelen, which is a pleasant playground for children.
For those
who want to get to the top, Stamsund is an excellent starting point for
mountain tours. It is within walking distance of the mountain range.
By car or bus, you can get around this island kingdom and also to the starting points for many wonderful summit tours.
